Three Leaf Clover

I came out from my darkness that day,
Into the sunshine of a renewed life.
Took a deep breath of air that was free.

Green grass in the springtime,
with sweet smell of flowers,
in fields of clover…

Insects pollenating,
sharing their labor,
for a hungry planet.

Suddenly, I knew,
and I asked the world,
what’s wrong with being a three leaf clover?
