The Queen of My Transition

I’m sitting here on my throne,
believing I am queen of my world.
My subject honors me,
inside my looking glass,
From inside out,
she bows to me,
face to face,
and affirms our truth.
I grant permission,
and my approval,
to see me as herself,
to live in my kingdom.
She promises to serve us well,
throughout our reign,
and that she does.
