A Girl in Church: On a Sunday

Attended on Sunday,

when I was a boy.

Prayed to be changed,

and not a girl.

Asked God to,

make her go away.

As a man,

on my knees,

in the sanctuary,

praying to God,

to let me be her,

that little girl,

in church,

on a Sunday.
